Me and 2 buddies are finaly going to go and get new bows sometime in the next few weeks. We have all 3 held onto our old bows for at least 6 years (mine is 8 yrs old) and its time to upgrade. Last year I shot a bunch of different bows and instantly fell in love with the Outback the first time I shot it. Its unbelievable. So, we are gonna go somwhere together and see what kind of deal we can get on 3 Switchbacks
What are you guys paying. Im trying to figure out what we should be willing to pay. I know last year the place I checked was alot more expensive than what you guys were saying on the outbacks. Im hoping we can get a good deal with the 3 of us.

$670 for mine. You'll find them anywhere from $625-$710 around here (Central IL). Not for sure if you would get them cheaper since Mathews is in your backyard there in WI.

I don't know about the Switchback, but in 2002 I got my Legacy for $630 out the door. I figure I probably got about $100 off. If you can't take them down try a different shop. Some shops around here will not take anything off last years model and some will discount new models. Some may not discount them but you may be able to get them to throw in some new arrows.
Good luck

We went to the local Mathew's dealer and checked the bows out today. I had to shoot it again just to get excited
.
The sticker price on the switchback is a whopping $740!!! however, she said the they are pretty good about working out package deals. When 2 guys buy bows they often do 10 percent off accessories and $50 off the bow, but with the 3 of us we might get something a little better than that.
I think we will probobly just go there for our bows, its local and I know they have alot of happy customers. If we have to pay a few more dollars it will probobly be worth it.

Both pro shops in my area are $729.00 but will give 10% off the accesories.
Sounds like my area is a little high[:@]
Which is strange since for guns my area seems to be cheaper when compared to other areas.
