Just head to some rivers and creeks, lakes are good i've always had luck back in the coves in shallow water. I walk the banks and try to eye ahead for any ripples or moving weeds, also keep an eye out for clouds of mud they kick up. If you don't already have some get some polarized sunglasses, they don't need to be the best, mine are an 8 dollar pair from walmart, & been shooting with them for two years, but IMO (& just a few others) they are a must have for bowfishing. Try to wear a camo or darker t-shirt and hat, Just walk the banks but move slowly even when you draw, the fish can see you and will dissappear fast! If you try a river or creek plan on getting your feet wet. Also if you know anywhere close to a river thats flooded in the past few days after the water goes down check the standing water. On the property I was turkey hunting this morning a bottom that holds bucks in the fall was holding quite a few carp after the weekend rain!

See if you can find some channels or narrow bodies of water. It's easier to get a shot off when they can only move in 2 directions. Good luck out there.
