i bowfish out of a big old aluminum canoe. you can get anywhere with them and they are relativly stable. never flipped her in three years of shooting... knock on wood. easy to menuver and you can throw a trolling motor on for cheap. this requires two people... one to captain the craft and one to shoot.

I've fished out of a canoe by myself. You have to pay close attention to your movements, but you can get into alot of fish with one. I've shot alot from shore tho too. Definetly need polarized glasses. I like the $10.00 ones from Walmart best. Strike King.

Not sure if you have any channels in S.C., but we have tons of fish in our drainage channels here in Florida and you can walk the banks all day shooting fish. If you're ever in the Orlando area, I do bowfishing charters as well. Not too many bowfishing guides in the country. Kinda spread out!
