hungry cow

I took one of my friends bowfishing who had never gone before. He was really exited about it and his first carp he hit directly in the eye which was a pretty cook way to get your first fish bowfishing I thought. I have never seen it before, but then again I don't aim for the head! He wanted to eat it so I showed him how to clean a carp and get out the red meat and we ate it fresh and it was just about as good as any other kind of fish coming out of a super clear river fresh. It reminded me how exiting it was to get my first carp, except mine wasn't quite so exiting since I hit a buffalo just below the dorsal fin and must have somehow damaged its spine and it just rolled over like it was dead and didn't swim at all.
