21lbs is the bowfishing record for Colorado. Our Common carp record on a rod and reel is 35# 5oz. Carp in Colorado don't get near as big as in other states.

No. Big head carp are the biggest of the carp species and the new world record was shot a few days ago. You can go check it out above in the Illinois club thread. It was 92.5 lbs. Common don't get that big but like said Cold sates such as Colorado don't grow em to big. Most states the record is about 40-60 lbs. The world record common was caught by hook and line weighing almost 84 lbs.... Congrats on the state record. Doesn't matter how big thefish is. A state record is a state record no matter what cuz ultimately you know youhave the best of what is there so far. Its a good accomplisment no matter where or how big the record is cuz to et a record is great... Me and my buddy missed the state record here one night withmy buddy shootin a15 lb13oz drum missing the record by 3 oz.WCL
