Was given an older Oneida bow. I want to strip and repaint it. So what would you use to strip and what kind of paint would you use? I want to paint it a blue marble.
Here is what it looks like now.

On my Oneida I just covered over the paint with a thin layer of carp slime and blood. (in some places, not so thin)
Sorry, I can't be more helpful. My bow does need some paint. It has wood on the limbs showing. [:-]

I gotta agree with you 100% on www.mooseridgecoatings.com
As a matter of fact....I decided to get my husbands old Mathews MQ1 that was the old Treebark Camo and had itpainted for him for his birthday and I just got the bow back from Rob over at Moose Ridge Coatings last week............and the bow turned out AWESOME...
They Do Top Notch Work
I had the Riser, Idler Wheel, Cam, Limb Bolts and Washers under the bolts all painted Rootbeer Marble and then he painted the limbs Black and he had Adam over at Arrow Wraps Unlimited make the Bow Manufacturer Limb Decals in a Rootbeer Marble that matches the rest of the bow perfectly.
If you check out Rob's website he also has his price list on there.

First of all thanks guys and gals for the vote of support.I love what I do and it's things like your post that makes it all worth while.
nwochuck do you mean something like this if you go to our website and look on the sample page I think you might just find what you are looking for in the blue marble. Plus we could do black or white limbs with blue smoke going through them. Either way get a hold of me and I'd be more than willing to talk about what you have in mind.
