Boats......

RE: Boats......
For some people the best boat is the one that floats! Everything has it's pros and cons. I think most people use Jon boats. The wider the better for stability. I started with a 15' fiberglass trihull, which worked pretty good. Now I've got a 1748 jon mod V. I wish it was bigger, but it will work this year. I had a buddy with a 1248 we took everywhere. Got interesting with a few fish in the boat. A couple people have pontoons on here and seem to like them a lot.

Dude, If you have a boat already it is probably the best one to start with. If you don't, you can't go wrong with a jon boat. There are lots of them out there and if you're patient, they're pretty cheap.
I shoot off a pontoon myself and love it for the comfort, but I've seen almost every kind of small boat used. At the last tournament we went to a guy had a deck boat rigged up.
