Default Shotgun hunting carp

I have a question in spring I thought I remember someone saying how they can shoot carp with a shotgun in their state. I was wondering if I had read this right and if so what states allow you to shoot carp with a shotgun? might have to go on a road trip if this holds true. thanks

You got your signature wrong. It's "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat drinking beer all day."

And I think it was either OK or ARK that allowed shotgunning for silvers, but I am probably wrong with the way today is going.

In Vermont you can shoot fish with a shotgun or rifle.

In Lake Champlain; pickerel, northern pike, carp, garfish, bowfin, mullet, shad, suckers, bullhead and other cull fish may be taken from March 25 to May 25 by shooting and spearing

i dont htink it would be awseme or fun.... becauase they wouldnt automattically die .. the lead would poison other animals that ate the fish and how would you get them in the boat

You could use steel shot like you have to for migratory birds in wisconsin. Use a full choke they would die/blow a whole out of them. Net them to get them in the boat and you could kill more of them when their jumping and flipping on the surface in murky water that is hard to see down into. Like every place they seem to hangout.

First off, why would you even want to kill or catch a carp??? Please tell me you don't eat those trash-suckers. Second, that would be no fun at all anyways. Third, if you're gonna do it: Make doughballs out of bread, peanut butter, and minced garlic. Ball it up on a treble hook and catch your carp. THEN you take it down to Leroy on the street corner and sell him all your trash-guzzlers for a dollar a piece.
