Default setting up an old recurve

I have a 1967 pearson hunter that I was going to set up to bowfish. There are no holes drilled and want to keep it that way. So my question is:are there any rigs that you can use on recurves that dont require modifying the bow ? I have an old compound as well, but figured that shooting with fingers would be easier with the recurve.

Yup, there sure is.
It's called a gadget adapter.

Check it out under "reel seats".

You can also use a simple shoot-through hoop, listed in the "reel" section.

By the way, you can shoot anything with fingers, as long as the axle-to-axle length is long enough, like 36" or so.

All I shoot is fingers for everything.

I have a gadget adapter on one of my bows. Doesn't work too bad. I use no-gloves.
