why do yall only bowfish carp what about nail perch

In Illinois we can only bowfish for 'rough fish', carp, gar, buffalo and suckers.

in illinois can you fish dogfish?? im pretty sure here in michigan you can fish dogfish too along with all those others.

Yep, I forgot about dogfish. We can shoot 'carpsuckers' too. Those are the quillbacks and such.

Roygh fish only legal. This includes all carp, buffalo, gar, drum, and probably suckers.

I do know what drum are and have almost shot plenty of them not realizing they were drum. Just wasn't sure on the legality of shooting them. Sometimes they're not included in the rough species list.
