Default Rifle fit measurements ???

Now there you go Tree Climber you reminded me the fit of any rifle is the most important. Other than trying a rifle I don't know how to measure or if there is a measuring method for finding the right lengths on a rifle. Does any one know if there ia a measuring method for stock size and such??

Default RE: Rifle fit measurements ???

Last year, I had my Ruger #1 stock shortened as it was too long. I took it to a gunsmith and he did measure something (arm length?) but I can't remember. So yes, there is a method. Try asking on the "Guns" forum.
