scope under a 100 dollars
Ok in my last post you guys talked me outta the Pineridge scope from Cabelas. Thanks for your input, especially Triple 7. I went and bought the base and rings for my Optima and installed them today. I also looked at the Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn. Im leaning toward that one.Any other suggestions on a scope for under a 100 dollars?? I hunt whitetails no shots over a 100 yards. Thanks for all the help . Okie

RE: scope under a 100 dollars
This one has less eye relief than the Bushnell, but it's a nice buy at $79. You may need medium or see-thru rings for the big 44-lens.
Simmons 44 Mag 3-10X44
This one below has slightly nicer optics than the Dusk To Dawn,,, just has reduced eye relief (3.5)
Bushnell Trophy 3-9X40 @ $99

Okie-48 as is usually the case, Triple Se7en made some excellent choices there.
I personally like the idea of a long eye relief 3.5 is good, 4" is better.
I have the 1.5 X 4.5 Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn. It is a great scope but I now wish I would have went to a 3 X 9 scope. I will say the Dusk to Dawn has a great focus and light gathering ability.
