50 Yard target
Show your targets!!
Here's one of my better 50 yard targets. This is proped up but not with a store bought rest. I tried last week to post this inn the thread talking about MOA but had picture difficulties. Didn't get to shoot this weekend but did get out to track some deer in the snow. Darn lot of work walking in a foot of crusty snow. jumped a big one he circled left and I circled right and neve saw him again. I had a pretty good idea where he was going and I was not about to follow in the snow. the few miles I did was enough effort.

RE: 50 Yard target
Hay Mike thanks for being truthfull. By the way I camped at Jim Thorpe years ago. I remember hiking to the top of a beautiful water fall. The ravine to the falls had large Hemlock trees as I remember.

RE: 50 Yard target
These were the first three groups fired from my Knight Revolution at 100 yds. I have a 3x9 Leupold scope on it. I used three different bullets. The top group measured 1.15" and was shot with 300 grain Hornady XTP's.
The bottom left group measured 1.9" and was shot using 240 grain Dead Centers. The lower right group measured 2.25" and was shot with Hornady 385 grain great plains bullets. All groups were shot using 100 grains of 777 powder. I have shot some groups since that were better and some that were worse. They all are within Knights guarnteed accuracy claim of 2.5" or better at 100 yds. though. To me, that is plenty good enough for deer hunting. To date, I have shot one group that measured under 1.0".

RE: 50 Yard target
I don't shoot many 50 yard groups - here's one I shot during sighting in a scope with a heavier bullet. It includes a third shot at 100.
Of course those shots were using a scope and the progression of adjustment is explained on the target.
My eyes are just not suited to using irons these days as the sights dance in front of my face. Here's some testing I did without a scope:
