Thanks for a very informative post. Variety is the spice of life, and that is what intrigues me about the Savage. I'll heed your advice carefully. If you have it could you provide Randy Wakemans web address.
T-7 sorry to disappoint you on my choice of propellant. I'm not saying that this gun/propellant set-up is the most proficient form of muzzle loading. I just would like to give it a try...
