Default What am I doing wrong?

I tried to load my Firestorm yesterday with the T/C Shock Wave Sabots and the Mag Express Sabots, but couldn't get either to go down the barrel. I had to punch both back out of the end of the barrel.

I was using the 50 cal. 240gr and 250gr loads. I tried my Powerbelts and they went right down.

Those are .452 bullets with a thicker sabot. Go out and buy some .451 45/50 or .429 44/50 Nosler or Speer bulk bullets in 50 & 100 pks. Then buy a 50-pk of Harvester sabots. Others to buy are Harvester sabertooth bullets, Powerbelt bullets, Buffalo sabot/bullets, Hornady XTPs bulk in 429 or 451. These are sold fom 185-230 grains. Then there's Precision bullets (QTs & Dead Centers) at prbullet.com.

I had the same problem, so I went back to my Power Belts. The 240 Shockwave even broke my loader, so they are in my box at the bottem. I won't shott them again.
