Do you like the T/C Hawken patchboxes?

I wish T/C would have left off the patchbox on T/C Hawkens. Some of the old T/C's have really nice wood, and the patchbox isn't that attractive. I never use it anyway. What do you think?

I do not use the patchbox on my Hawkins either. I still like the patch box for the looks of the thing. Other then that there is really no use for it to me. I also have a Renegade with is a Hawkins without all the frills. That is my hunting rifle for them most part.

On both my Hawkens I put a patch worm, a couple of patches and a paperclip to uses as a flash hole pick. Ever get dirt or snow down the barrel, moisten the patch with saliva, stick it on the worm, and clean it out. Takes up no extra room and is always there.
