I just got my first Black powder rifle. The new Omega SS Hardwoods. I was advised by a few people to use the Powerbelt 245 grain Aero tips with Pyrodex Pellets. I was just curious of everyone' s thoughts on this setup. I purchased some and plan on trying them out this week once I get the pellets but I wanted to see what others thought of it.

My Omega did not shoot them well-- but did fine with 295 gr. Powerbelts.

Another good choice is the .44 / 50 Dead Center sabots.
