And you dont need any of that using what i mentioned. The DISC Extreme is a much different rifle with 2 options for using a bare primer. Knight even offers a bare primer bolt you can buy for $85ish at Sportsmans Warehouse.

wow I wish I would have done my homework before I got my Rem 700ml ! With the rifle and the Badger Ridge bolt/breech plug I'll have close to $500 into it. Not counting the scope. Oh well. I'm sure the 700 will serve me well.

I know that knight has better ML. I have the LK and the OP specifically asked about the LK and CVA. I have both and gave my 2 cents. The DISC is probably a fine shooting rifle and would be a good option for the OP without the hassles of the converted LK.

I noticed that this question has not been answered and I honestly cannot give you any real intelligence on this. Knight folded once in the past and the current owners do seem to vary in their customer service, with COVID certainly not helping matters. Others may have more info.

That being said, the Extreme platform is pretty bulletproof in my experience. Once you have a load dialed in, assuming you keep your rifle maintained, I would not think there is much that goes wrong. It is a common enough platform that replacement parts should be pretty available no matter what.

I guess I should have done some homework before I bought my used 700ml. I just may have purchased a Disc Extreme. Oh well I'm sure it will serve me well.

He said he was upgrading FROM a LK. He asked about the Accura and ............

Any advice from the crowd? Any others I should consider?
At the current cost of both the Extreme even with the additional cost of the Lehigh kit is a deal.

The Lehigh bare primer plug for the Knight DISC Extreme is under $50 shipped. So total (with shipping) you would have about $450 in a DISC Extreme with a Timney trigger and Made in the USA.

Actually GM I just ordered a Disc Extreme Xtra Straight from Knight yesterday and the sale price was $349 + $38.50 excise tax + $45 shipping for a total of $430. I also ordered the Lehigh Defense SSK 209 bolt face and bare primer BP (and a pack of vent liners) with shipping for $65.
That's a lot cheaper than going with the Knight conversion kit which is now up to $131 + shipping.

Sportsmans was about $85 for the Knight kit. If you only need the bolt body it was around $65 from Knight and $15 shipping also. It literally takes less than a minute to install your bolt internals into a bare primer bolt body.

I appreciate the info GM but my Lehigh parts have already been shipped and from what I've heard these are very good also. Plus its a quick and easy swap out if for some reason I need to go to the red plastic jacket.
