Default Scope change

Took the vortex scope off my 1:20 mountaineer and put it on an old long Range Hunter .
now when the way below zero deep freeze ends i will try it out .
plan on trying the 500 gr grease groove bullet from buffalo arms
scope is a Vortex 6x24
gun is a Knight LRH 1:18 twist

Vortex makes a really good scope for the money. I have a couple myself. Can't wait to see the range report on this.
For hunting here in PA I've also come to like the Konus M-30. I have them in 3-9x and 2-7x. I like the illuminated center dot (red or blue) when hunting thick woods in low light.
