Thompson Center Bone Collector bullet/loose powder combos 100 yards?

Switched to Blackhorn 209 loose this year and Barnes 290 GR TEZ bullets. How many grains powder are you guys employing to find a nice tight group at 100 yards? Looking for a close baseline to start is all so I don't have to shoot my shoulder off this weekend, thanks guys!

I have the Bone Collector, I shoot 100 grains of Blackhorn 209, I also use the Barnes bullets but I shoot the 250 grain. I found that my gun would not pattern using the supplied sabot so I bought the Thompson Center Mag express sabots (.451-.452). The Thompson center mag express sabots number is T/C 8281. You might want to pick up a package just in case. Hope this helps. Also I measure my blackhorn not by weight.

i started out with 90 grains of bh & went to 100 grains & now i shoot 110 grains great accuracy & excellant knock down power & out of my traditions ldr i use 120 grains the ldr has a 30" barrel

It can vary from one gun to another. Mine likes 115 grains Volume measure with u-view measure. You will also find different measures and the way people use them will vary.
