Default Wads

Yeah we all know about wool and veggie wads....at least many of us do. What many have never seen are poly which i have not tried and CircleFly Nitro Cards.

Well Sabotloader has tried them in .510 but i just got these sent to me with the help of a forum member. I had a hard time tolerating the shipping cost and he lived close to the vendor. Turns out he could ship them for $3 vs nearly $11 for a small $6/500 bag of wads....Thanks buddy can wait to try them

It was super easy to split them in half or even 3rds with just a finger nail too.

Hmmmm. I've got lots of different wads because of my varying gauge BP shotguns. I'll be watching for your reports as I may have another use now.

And I hear ya about shipping costs. Hazard fee stopped me from buying musket caps. I've got a sharps and never seen a nipple as big in diameter before. A #11 far too small.and musket caps suggested.
But it seems I pay more for hazmat than the caps are worth. And I don't know if they will even fit.

The CircleFly Nitro cards for shotguns are easy to find. Even Ballistic Products Inc should have them in a couple of gauges. These 45cal rifle Nitro Cards are a royal bear to find though atm. Track of the Wolf should have all of the calibers and gauges in stock except these. They are listed as WAD-A on TOW. They have the over shot cards too.

Mine came from Buffalo Arms because they were the only ones with them in stock atm.

Its almost like a cross between cardboard and some kind of fibers. They compress very little if any just using my fingers. Hard but not hard like veggie wads.
