I hunted on very busy state land a couple decades ago. Had to get to my very nice blind by 5:45AM on Opening Day to keep visitors out of it.
I fell asleep before day-light one time and when I awoke to the first nearby shot, there were big bear tracks in the snow, no more than three feet in front of my down-wood blind.
Those tracks were not there when I sat there. The bear even walked in my snowy foot tracks nearby.
Yikes! Maybe my snoring scared-him-off, after he smelled my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches packed near me.....lol
