Default Ed' 347g HP Homecast

This morning went up, and captured Ed' hollow point. Distance to the trap was 25 yard. Powder charge was 50 grain Blackhorn. Speed at 25 yard clocked the other day was 1155 fps. The bullet weighed 346.5 grain. After capture the bullet weighs 343.8 grain

The bullet went through carpet, plywood, destroyed the first two jugs; went into the third jug where it was caught.

Energy of 1,037 foot-pounds for a 350 grain bullet at 1155 fps.

Pretty nice considering the milder recoil and nearly 100% weight retention. I still think this is one of the best bullets for a "standard twist" 45cal using lighter loads.

I would agree GM, especially for deer size game.
Add, if you cast yourself - they cost less than a dime.
