Hunting for bear on the ground with one shot and no backup always gives the bear a chance to come out the winner and an easy lunch too.

Try it and you'll bring more than teeth and nails.

Justin Perry used the same rifle that took top honors in the Hunter class in another match too.

Maybe if fast twist 45s keep tearing up the targets more companies will get with the program. A well made break action 45 fast twist would be kinda sweet.

Keep an eye out. I've heard rumors

The Knight KPX has been rumored for a while now. Personally i think the Scout V2 conversion is a dandy for the price. I would love to try one with big lead in a brush gun role.

CVA rumored a 45 LD LR or whatever a while ago too but no specs on twist were mentioned. Optima V2 and Scout V2 have similar tooling so it would not be that big of a deal to make with an existing Scout 45 V2 45/70 barrel.

I believe there is one being tested as we speak... It has a 45-70 CF barrel mounted to the action... Although it is not a target rifle it is a hunting rifle.
