Default Sml?

Kind of new at some of this in-line ML lingo. So, tell me. Does "SML" stand for "smokeless muzzle loader"?

If not, then what?

Mine is built on a Savage MLII action with a Pacnor 27" .458 1-22 Super Match grade barrel. This barrel is .900" at the muzzle so its kind of a beast. I can shoot a 275gr bullet sabotless to 2600fps with ease. Around 2800fps is about my max on this build.

Do not try to shoot smokeless powder in your muzzleloader. it is only done in a custom made gun for smokeless or a savage.

My 700ML 408 Macgowen 20 twist

My boys 408 Pacnor 13 twist built on a Stevens 200 action.

Both are short n sweet and make nice treestand guns.

Just purchased Luke's SML from Arrowhead Sporting Goods. He tells me it's a real shooter.

10ML-II fit in a McMillan stock with a Brux barrel.

Them 408s are really cool. Not sure which twist i would like but im leaning towards a 1-16 since they are pretty common.
