Default Bursting Container Videos

These videos were made in March 2012. Rifle used was the Knight 45 caliber Disc Elite. Load was 120g Blackhorn, 200g SST, Harvester baby blue sabot, W209 primer. The reason the containers were shot at, was to vent my frustration with the breech plug in this rifle. The NFPJ plug allowed a lot of Blow by, so i attempted to convert a FPJ plug to the NFPJ plug. This took days to get it right. Watching containers blow up soothed my frustration with the dang plug. It was irritating to beat the bolt open with a wooden mallet. The first photo shows the converted NFPJ plug next to the FPJ plug. When the last video was made, the plug finally worked good.

The other day wife and i were discussing how much fun we had as kids, on the fourth of July, blowing things up. Blowing things up with a rifle is just plain fun!

Neat videos Ron. I was surprised at the amount of smoke visible from that Blackhorn load.

We never grow up. It's always fun blowing up water jugs.

The problem with doing it with a muzzy is we don't get to see it because of the smoke. Except at long range, or if we have a strong crosswind.

Whats the limit on mustard in the Dakotas. Down here its 1 mustard and 3 potato salads. Its always good to have fun while you are shooting.

There's no limit in Louisiana so long as it's not glass. "If it's poly, it's down".

What you need to shoot is gallon ketchups. That would make the area look like something out of a horror movie...lol
