Isn't that the worse part of hunting? I hate dumping in the mountains. It's hard on my bum knee.

Was that too much info?

I'd forget my gun, before i'd forget TP.

I'm old, and we think about TP more often.

Seldom need it but never leave home w/out it. Convenience store napkin dispensers provide good emergency back-up.

We seem to have drifted to the opposite end of jerky. Complete topic reversal.

Man, we're good.

Yeah, don't see no complaints from the OP. It will right itself at some point.

I never had that brand. But I like most all jerky. There was a commercial brand of seasoning, I think it was called "High Mountain" that I tried once. It was really good. I made my own from a recipe and it was OK, some really liked it, but this High Mountain I really enjoyed. Normally when I hunt, my snacks are apples, crackers, water, and occasionally a candy bar.

Speaking of smoking. When I used to smoke, it never seemed to upset the deer. In fact I once had a doe stop in her tracks and scent the air, and look right at me. I could have shot her at anytime. But I thought it strange she was so curious. I think deer are curious creatures. One reason I use pure Mexican Vanilla as a cover scent. Deer and bear like it.
