muley hunter you say in one of the replies you've shot some no excuses out of you rifle is that a cva your refering to ? i shoot a lot of dave's no excuses in my whites so i always have lot's on hand to shoot. i'm not sure on the bore diameter on these cva's i'll have to slug the barrel one of these day's . does anyone know how these barrels run some manufacturers run small and some run larger i wonder if these barrels will shoot slip fit no excuse type slugs well ?

Hard recoil, because the gun is so light.
You have much better choices if you shoot sabots. Barnes , Bloodline etc.

Not sure this has anything to do with what you might be looking for, but I am currently shooting a 6# Knight Ultra Lite and I really do not find the recoil objectionable at all.
For an Elk load I am shooting 120 gr. of T7 and a 305 gr. Lehigh bullet.
I think Knight and Bell & Carlson spent a quite of time developing the Kevlar stock to help reduce the felt recoil.
