So, call me a liar, and then have nothing to back it up. Why did you bother to say anything?

When safety is an issue. I'll speak my mind anywhere.

I would think anybody who set off a gun by crushing the primer would stop promoting crushing the primer, but that's just me.

First off you are correct about safety. And your also correct about crushing primers. If you don't know what your doing the crush could be to much and like you said once is to many times to accidentally go off. Ron supplied a simple option and 100% safe way.

So we can end this conversation now I hope!!

so guy's there is a possibility of gun going off while closing ? so maybe after setting up it should be checked with just a primer until known safe ?

That's why I was always careful to remove the extra clearance, but not to crush the primer. What you never want to do is switch to a different brand of primer, because they're different lengths. I always stayed with the federal 209a primers. They seemed pretty consistent. Even then i'd check the primers on an empty gun when using a new batch.

If you're worried. You can use the o-rings.

see pete, you got the confused, confused and just adding to the fire with this one.

Don't keep adding when the confused haven't a clue what this is all about. You are putting time and personal feelings into this for no reason and nothing is going to come out of it. Its a game being played.
