In my .50 caliber Traditions Pioneer with a 1/48 twist it shoots exceptional groups with 70 grains of Pyrodex Select, a .015 pillow tick patch, and a round ball.
My Traditions Woodsman with a 1/66 twist in .50 caliber shoots fantastic groups with 75 grains of Pyrodex Select a .015 patch and roundball.
My CVA .54 caliber Mountain Stalker with 1/48 twist shoots great using either 85 grains of Triple Se7en, a .015 patch, wonderwad, and roundball. Or I load a 300 grain conical with a wonderwad on 85 grains of Triple Se7en.
My T/C .54 caliber Renegade with 1/48 twist shoots roundballs excellent with 70 grains of Pyrodex Select and a .015 patch or 300 grain conicals with 85 grains of Pyrodex Select and a wonderwad. If I go to the 430 grain T/C Maxiball then I load 90 grains of Triple Se7en and a wonderwad.
