Default 54 cal pyrodex pellets ?

Anyone know a source for 54 cal pyrodex pellets? I am returning to muzzleloader hunting after a few years off. Am not finding 54 cal pellets anywhere. I use them in my 50 cal knight disc, they were much more accurate than the 50 cal pellets, think it was because the fit the bore perfectly. Also gave me a nice 130 grain load, which I liked.
If anyone have seen them anywhere, thanks !

Pyrodex 54cal pellets are 60gr equivalent each. I cant seem to find any either.

BTW did you ever consider the reason they appear to be more accurate was the larger charge than the 50cal pellets? You could achieve the same thing with loose powder.

They're discontinued, and i'm sure by now leftovers are gone. You can use .50 pellets in a .54.

Better yet use loose powder.

They disappeared from store shelves here well over a year ago. They just never caught on around here. Although I do like the Pyrodex pellets above all others.

Same thing in Colorado. The reason is to keep the season somewhat primitive

Default Thanks everyone,

Thanks to everyone, I had about decided that 54 cal pills were no longer available. Will just go to loose powder, never needed more than one shot , that's why I love this stuff so much! The pills were just so handy !

You'll find if you use a speedloader the loose powder is just as fast.
