lol yeah no carpet and water jugs are nothing close to the real deal.

We " Or at least I" already know the Aerolite is built for rapid expansion, but it was a full double lung shot that just exploded the internals and shattered the organs with bone frags.

I would not have an issue using this bullet at 100 yards and under. Its just one mack truck running you down.

Not needed. Just kicking with nerves. The brain can go on for a few minutes without oxygen. Notice how she flipped over on her other side while we were walking down to her, exposing the bullet entrance.

Now, that is a false statement! The correlation between bullet performance in the test, and performance on animals is/has been quite close. Actually, i am kinda surprised at how accurate the test is, at predicting, and comparing performance, of our muzzle loader bullets.

Good shooting old man!!

MD, my apologies young man. As I stated in my first post on this one, your paps did great! It was a nice shot and does go to show both the accuracy of the Aero's as well as the darn nice shooting from the old man! I know I sure couldn't have made that shot open sites. Hell I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside of it open site anymore.

I had a chance to watch the video in the off internet hours. Very impressive shot your father made. I was impressed with the bullet performance also. It did a nice job of planting that cow. I have seen modern center fire cartridges like a 30-06 not do that. So again, i would consider that bullet for a deer hunt any time.

Great video! And what appeared a great hunt you had with your father. Congratulations to him.

MD glad ya got to experience the hunt with your dad. He made a great shot and the results make some tasty steaks. Congrats to your dad and you for being along to share the memories. As far as the rhetoric with bullet performance and such well it's not my concern. We make the choice we feel is best for us. The main thing is you spent quality time with the ole man and it appears y'all had a blast. (Pun intended)
