44 Caliber 240 Grain XTP
This afternoon, the XTP bullet was shot through the test. Range was 25 yard. Powder charge was 80g Blackhorn.
Photo shows how the front jug is flattened. The second jug had the bottom blown out, and took a flight. The third jug has a hole in and out. The fourth jug held the bullet, and a small piece of lead. The fifth jug was undamaged. The bullet weighs 205 grain.

Yeah, it's a good bullet unless the muzzle velocity is too high. At velocities over about 1,800 fps the bullet can fragment. When i got back into muzzleloading in 1999 i used the 240 grain .430 XTP bullet with 130-150 grains of Pyrodex RS. Deer hit in the heart/lung area routinely bang flopped. Sometimes the off side of the body cavity looked like it was sprayed with shotgun pellets.
One day i messed up and shot a big doe in the shoulder at about 25 yards. At the shot there was a spray of blood and gore and i saw the shoulder bone exposed. Took me a long time to find and dispatch that deer. Immediately reduced my powder charges: No more problems.
