Mk85??

If you can find a old MK85 with a threaded barrel in poor shape, you could make one with the barrel of your choice. Not many companies offer a 1-24 though. IIRC Wiseman makes a 450x458 1-24 and Brux can make pretty much any twist you want.
1-18, 1-20 and 1-22 are easy to find though.

I second what flounder said. They are like finding a needle in a haystack. The few I've seen come available over the years have been blued & in mediocre condition and way overpriced. They are out there though, just not many. What GM said might work also if you could find a donor gun.

A couple of mine have the allen screw holding the barrel in place and then they were struck with a center punch to keep the screw from being removed. Do you just grind off a little metal with a dremel tool so you can take that screw out and then use some heat to unscrew the barrel.
Some of the other ones do not have the allen screw but I am 99 percent sure their barrel is screwed into the receiver as well. Do you just heat them up and unscrew it?
I'm just trying to gather information for now as this would be a winter project. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Art
