I just ran some 200gr and 225gr FTXs through the die. They are my "fun" bullets. MUCH harder to size than the others including the Nosler 250gr. They are also noticeably tighter in the bore.

I hope Ron gets a chance to run them through the jugs. They might hold up better than i think they will.

For fun bullets i use 250 gr sst's. They size easy , shoot good and are fairly cheap at .60 each compared to parker and others.
In my My knight disc i have to knurl them rather then size them if i use it .

225gr FTX is under 30cent each. My Super DISC is under .450..close to .4495

He said he is going to compete with it , so hopefully he does well . At least i should have a good idea on its potential as well as load info and range info for elevation and windage .

That will be cool and even cooler if he places in the top 3.

I heard from Bestill. The gun will ship Monday. he said the gun performed flawlessly but he didn't have a great day . He did good at 300 yds, and at 500 yds but he messed up on the turkeys at 420 yds. His brother took first place with a similar gun. He finished in 3rd with my gun. Actually it was a three way tie for third.
His brother finished with 15 /20 points second place 12/20 and my gun was 9/20 for the 3 way tie for third. Still not a bad showing. looks like it is a shooter.
