The fit and feel of the thumbhole stocks are different. I suggest anyone interested in purchasing one, test it first. There's been reports of disappointments and quick sales, from those that purchased prior to handling / shouldering this type of gunstock.
There's less gray area with this design. Shooters seem to either either love them or hate them.

Is that WD-40 right behind those two big jugs for shining the thumbhole, or cleaning-up all that spent Blackhorn powder?
Between the new gun and 10 lbs of Blackhorn, that's quite a chunk of change spent there. Now don't forget to spend equal-amounts on the household Mrs. now.
