Really no need to use pistol bullets in muzzleloaders anymore. Plenty of good ML bullets to use

No complaints here either. I shot a legitimate 200 lb 10 point broadside at 75 yards through both lungs and out the other side. He went about 50 yards and piled up. I was shooting these over 80 gr of Pyro P with a light blue Harvester CR sabot.

Pistol bullets still work fine for the whitetails I hunt. I still haven't had a chance to hunt for the ones with the armor plating yet.
I use 300 gr XTPs in my .50s and 200 gr XTPs in my .45 and haven't had a failure yet. Plus they are super accurate in my rifles.

true, the armor plating has been a growing issue in the US over the past 5 years or so.

I shoot plenty of XTPs, however, I have not used them to Harvest Game.

At $22 a hundred they are great at the range. Accurate, easy on the shoulder and perfect for gaining trigger time while you bring it to zero. I also use them in. 40/50 sabot for the same purpose in 50s,

Great load for beginners loaded light.

My PM option in my personal profile is checked / enabled, so it should be working. Click on my screen name here and PM'ing should be listed there.
Yes, I have those 40-cals I listed, plus some 44/45-cal 180 gr XTPs / 285 gr. Buffalo SSBs if you want.
