Default 350g Federal Premium Muzzleloader Bullet

This morning we shot the 350 grain Federal muzzle loader bullet through the stack of carpet, shelving, and water jugs. Load was 80g Blackhorn, range was 25 yard.

The bullet went through all 5 jugs, and tore a ways into the phone book, but bounced off, and was found on the ground just to the side of the horse. It now weighs 299.3g. The bullet appears to be solid lead alloy. When recently purchased the bullet was available, but now it seems it has sold out.

Looks like excellent performance. Have you shot this bullet at any distance for accuracy yet Ron?

Edit to add: Also, the site you linked to stated that it's supposed to be copper with polymer tip. That sure don't look like copper to me!

Nice job on that one for sure!

Sure looks like the 270 grain BorLock... they both look to have almost the exact same design. Big difference in performance though.

Between this and the Lehigh 260 XP, I'm inclined to agree w/you!

Not familiar w/the BorLok, but this looks like an Accu-Bond design.

I like its results better than the FPB.

I left out the 270gr...

Its basically the same bullet, just a different weight (and apparently MUCH different composition - based on performance of the 350gr)
