Getting brown at the breech-bottom? Reach for the Kroil and Ballistol. That should fix it.

No, percussion.

Patches went down smoothly and came up without rips/holes/tears/rust afterward; I am unclear how corrosive 777 actually is.

I certainly wouldn't repeat the performance!

It was a lefty, I'm not, so I (stupidly) sold it after that next season.

At 5:30 this morning the mountaineer went off no problem with a Winchester primer.
