And when these modern bullet shooter talk about expansion in their pistol bullets... many would be hard pressed to match that. No I am not saying that every time we shoot a lead conical we get that kind of expansion. Because I know we don't. But that must have drilled one huge hole through that deer on its path. That is amazing numbers. I never guessed they would do that.

And with that load of 70 grains of 3F Triple seven, that bullet is only moving at something like 1350 fps. You don't need speed if you've got mass.

Dave, the insides was a complete mess. I thought my grandson was going to throw up when I opened him up and saw the stomach was split wide open along with everything else. My grandson couldn't believe the amount of blood that came out of that deer. He got a good education especially as to what bullets can do to you.
