I have a replica black powder flintlock pistol but do not know a thing about it. The barrel is rifled but there is no flash hole. It has markings - Ardesa Spain .45 cal black powder only but have been told it is not a working gun, Anyone know about this pistol.

Yep, non functional gun just made for the tourist industry...

There used to be a site that sold antique replica firearms like that pistol, brown bess muskets, etc...

Some of them are used in re-enacting as only something that makes a pan flash, but of course will not fire.

No worry about that one firing. No touch hole, and I don't think a chrome frizzen would spark.

Yea... it's definitely a wall hanger. Damn shame... pretty good looking wood with good fit and finish. Too bad the manufacturer couldn't have went the extra mile for components that would have made it a shooter.
