The Barnes & the Bloodlines are top tier performers & will not let you down. Lehigh Defense (makers of the Knight Bloodline bullets) makes a .458/300 subsonic that is a fantastic hunting bullet. It has a terminal window from 800ft/s to over 2000ft/s. It has proven to be a very accurate bullet too.

I should add that I use an orange MMP 458/50 sabot & 110gr of BH209 (by volume)

There are many good bullets that will work on deer, especially under 100yds.
If you need long range accuracy then the more expensive bullets might be interesting but with a limited range like 100 yds there is no need for the more expensive bullets.
In the lower price group the cheaper ones would be XTP and Gold Dot or as they are now know Deep Curl, it is a fact that the deep curl are bonded which makes them hold to gather better on penetration, they also shoot more accurate in my guns.
Should you decide to take a trip to places where long range accuracy is needed or terminal ballistics for very large game the more expensive bullets like the bonded Shock Wave and the plastic tipped Barns need to be worked up.

Don't forget the PT Gold bullets. Good bang for the buck. (pun intended)
