There are many good bullets that will work on deer, especially under 100yds.
If you need long range accuracy then the more expensive bullets might be interesting but with a limited range like 100 yds there is no need for the more expensive bullets.
In the lower price group the cheaper ones would be XTP and Gold Dot or as they are now know Deep Curl, it is a fact that the deep curl are bonded which makes them hold to gather better on penetration, they also shoot more accurate in my guns.
Should you decide to take a trip to places where long range accuracy is needed or terminal ballistics for very large game the more expensive bullets like the bonded Shock Wave and the plastic tipped Barns need to be worked up.
