Default Inline question

I have what is probably a dumb question, but I' ll ask anyway: I have a new Rossi inline .50cal, and was wondering if I can use regular powder instead of pellets and if so how this is done properly. Getting time for sighting in and I' m getting desperate!!

I don' t know anything about a Rossi, all of the inlines that I can think of can use either one.You said it was new,did you get a instruction book with it?If so I would read it and go by what they say.

You should be able to use regular black powder, but NEVER use regular smokeless powder for rifle/shotgun shells...thats a good way to become a statistic and get your name in the wrong part of the newspaper.[X(]

thanks guys,

The book said pellets but I kept looking around and all other inlines could use either so I went ahead and used 90 grains of pyrodex and it worked fine, in fact for the price it is a pretty good gun, thanks for the help
