Thanks for all the good info. This might sound nuts but does the sub base get pushed all the way down the barrel by itself, and then the bullets is seated on top or do they go down together. It appears the sub base does not fit onto the bullet at all but just as a pressure seal below it. Thanks again

The sub-base does not fit on the bullet at all - it just collects all the gas and pushes the bullet up the bore. The really nice thing is that in theory it comes off the base of the bullet a lot cleaner than does a regular sabot... |
