Nothing this morning but on the evening sit - I was only there for 20 mins when I saw two deer coming down the hill in my direction acting as if they had been jumped. It's so thick where I hunt. Instead of continuing on the path they were coming which would have put them only 40 yds giving me and the Accura a clear shot, the doe decided to turn left and drop off an embankment and the buck followed (not a big buck but a decent racked buck - probably an 8). I kept straining my eyes trying to pick them up farther down the hill and finally caught some movement out pretty far - 80 yds or so. I shouldered the Accura and had the Leupold crosshairs on the tell tale white V of a whitetail's tail. I could have raise up a bit and broke the deer's back and into the vitals but I didn't know if it was the buck or the doe. Don't know what made that doe change direction. The wind was in my face and I hadn't moved. There was no possible way they could have known I was there.

Sounds like you had nothing to do with their path. They just naturally moved in that direction.

I'm sure better opportunities will be available.
