If it were a copper bullet, it may end up too long to shoot accurately in common standard twist barrels, e.g. 1:28.

Knight offers a .40x200 grain bullet - that is an awesome bullet

A copper bullet like you are describing is in the works but not by Barnes. It requires a faster twist for best results. So far the testing results are mixed and the best results have been with twists faster than 1-22. This bullet though has a long "pointy" ogive because they wanted a high BC. A less aggressive ogive would likely work in a slower twist just fine with upper end loads.

Ive been begging for a 220-230gr copper bullet that mimics the Barnes 195gr profile for a long time but i don't see it happening.

Forgot to add this one may be coming shortly.... hopefully...

40x230gr

Never mind... you are looking for a good .452x200/230 grain bullet...

But you know you can put either of these .40 cal. bullets in a 40x50 cal. sabot

225 or 230 gr .45 cal saboted bullet

I think he wants a heavier 45cal sabot option similar to a Barnes 195gr. Im assuming he wants a monolithic bullet since he mentioned Barnes. Im under the impression that Cutting Edge Bullets will gladly make whatever you want if you order enough.

I am still not sure exactly... I do not shoot many Barnes bullets at all but I thought the 195 was a 40 cal bullet???

That is correct. The Barnes 195gr is 40cal and offered in a tan MMP 45x40 sabot.

Precision Rifle makes 220, 240 and 260 grain .400 Dead Center bullets.
http://prbullet.com/shop/products.ph...tAsc=1&nPage=1

Starting tonight at midnight through midnight Friday Precision Rifle is having a 40% off sale.

I shot these 240gr Precision Rifle Dead Center bullets in a smokeless muzzleloader but used Harvester blue smooth sabots for better accuracy. Even killed a deer with one and the exit is seen in the picture. So much for reports of them blowing up on impact

Cutting Edge is making .400 240gr bullets. They however will not shoot with sabots as of yet. They are very accurate sabotless in my .392/.400 Pacnor barrel full form sabotless.
