When I did it I bought a piece of PVC pipe long enough to fit the barrel in and capped the end. Then put the barrel in it and filled it untill the Evapo-Rust coverd the barrel. Then let it sit in the corner for 24 hours and PRESTO! No more rust. Or blueing.

Thank you for the pics. I unfortunately need to wait till friday to pick some up. I'll probably go to the hardware store to pick up some pvc and end caps. Once thats don'e I'll have a better look at the bore.

Welcome back. I shoot at Parma Woods if you ever want make some smoke.
The evaporust will do the job but be careful not to get any on the blueing. I learned the lesson the hard way.
I had very little spilled on a table cover, I leaned my barrel up against it, and bam, I now have a blue free zone on the barrel.
