It wasn't too cold here but we did get about 9" of wet snow.

We had a 5 inch snow last thur nite. Thats just aint right for march. It seems ole man winter cant turn loose in northeast Arkansas. The high today was 37, its supposed to be in the 60's.

I saw a news report that the State of Ohio had indicted Puxatony Phill for false prediction of an early spring, and intended to seek the death penalty.

First thing Ohio would need to do is get Pennsylvania to agree to extradite Phil. It seems to me this isn't so very likely since the alleged crime did not occur in Ohio.

Further, if Phil has committed a crime, then so also has every employee of NOAA.

It seems to me the interpretation of Phil' forecast is erroneous. When Phil doesn't see his shadow folk take that to mean there will be less than 6 more weeks of winter. However, here in the North, we have always breathed a sigh of relief, when Phil actually saw his shadow, because this meant there would only be 6 more weeks of winter. We always hope/hoped Phil see his shadow; because then winter would only last 6 more week.
