I want to change out the stock on my 700ML. I'm going from a factory camo to factory black. Is it something I might be able to do or would it be better left to a gunsmith?

It's a camo with SS and I want to change the stock to black. I used to HATE this gun. So much that I put it away and bought a TC Omega a few years ago. But after much research and trial/error I am back in love again. I'm so glad I just put it away and didn't sell it back then.

A real simple task changing the stocks. Been a few years since I removed the stocks on mine but seem to remember two screws. One in the trigger guard and one in the forend. Several web site on adjusting the triggers too, can do that wile the stock is off.
I used the sniper country site to get mine done.

There is 3 screws in the 700ml that holds the stock on.
Two on the trigger guard and one just rear of the recoil lug.
Just remove the ramrod, remove the 3 allan head screws and lift the gun from the stock.
If you need a black 700ml stock I would trade you for the camo one.
